Wir konnten ihn für euch gewinnen und freuen uns sehr auf sein umfangreiches Coaching. „I’ll keep them busy“ hat er uns gesagt – die Überforderung der Schauspieler*innen hat dabei durchaus Methode – wir freuen uns darauf!\n\nJordan Beswick\nJordan began coaching actors 26 years ago at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York (1994 – 1998), focusing on Audition, Acting for Film & TV, and Script Analysis. After moving to North Carolina, he taught classes at Andrea Magder’s Film Workshop & Laboratory (1998 – 2000). He then crossed the Atlantic to conduct intensive acting workshops at Studio VO/ VF in Paris, France (2001 – 2013), the Institut für Schauspiel Film und Fernsehberufe (2006 – present) in Berlin, Germany, the Manufacture des Abbesses (2014 – present) in Paris, France, and the Actors Centre (2014 – present) in London, England. He also squeezed in the Greensboro Performing Arts and New Garden Friends School in Greensboro, NC for a year in 2015.\nIn Casting, Jordan worked with renowned Casting Directors Douglas Aibel and Georgianne Walken & Sheila Jaffe on an array of award winning films including Dead Man Walking, Little Odessa, The Yards, Signs, Denice Calls Up and Daytrippers, before going solo and casting several more award winners including Urbania, Getting To Know You, You Belong To Me and Seaside, and contributing to award winners like Forty Shades of Blue, Factotum, Cabin Fever and most recently Talk.\nJordan has directed short films and plays that have been presented in California, New York, France, Germany, Brazil, Belgium, Washington DC, Illinois, and North Carolina.\nHis own plays have been produced, directed by him and others, all around the world – from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in D.C. to the Riverside Studios in London to the West Bank in New York City to the Celebration Theatre in Hollywood to the Manufacture des Abbesses and Lucernaire in Paris…\nAs an actor, Jordan trained with Michael Moriarty, Mira Rostova, Stephen Strimpell, Sandy Dennis, Shelley Winters, Sally Kirkland, Frederick Combs, Susan Peretz, Amy Wright, Guy Stockwell, and was a finalist for membership at the legendary Actors Studio. Vocally with Marni Nixon and William & Irene Chapman.
